Some out of town patrons go to Toucans because of the limited options on the beach. I think if they knew the whole story besides the drugs many of them would not go to Toucans. Between the health code issues (and before any employees go ballistic you can go on to Bay County court records and see citations, and dates, but no specific details) and the building code violations, Paul should have been out of business a long time ago. During one of his little building projects last year he had a concrete header taken out from a load bearing section for the upstairs. He was reported to the city and a city representative (who is not an engineer) said it was no problem. And there is the crux of the problem, Paul had done whatever he has wanted to do and people looked the other way. Look at the parking across the street, Paul lost that fight and was supposed to get rid of it, well it is still there. Well karma just ate his dogma and he is going away for a long time.

Well most locals knew better than to eat there. Filthy and the food and drinks were crap. Don’t even get me started on the upstairs rip off area.

Health Dept. did close it for a little while.

Have to agree with Casper - the place is nasty to begin with and I’m surprised the health department hasn’t closed it down. The roaches and cats that carry diseases all over the outside tables. Don’t think the roaches haven’t been on the inside as well. While you’re sitting out there on the deck at night waiting for a meal & a huge roach crawls up on the table and waits with you.

The food half cooked with no flavor alone makes the place a total ripoff. Watered down drinks…there’s no pride in serving a decent meal in a clean establishment here. Good Riddance Toucan’s ~ bring on some good food and a clean place to enjoy!!

The mentality of MB needs to get with the 21st century and get an experienced leader that understands good community planning/building and stop ripping off the citizens taxing them to death by giving the developers every loop hole possible and when it all came crashing down - the citizen’s have to pay more for such poorly executed and poorly planned development

I believe Toucan’s has already been taken over by the IRS. And yes everyone at Toucan’s are retarded. Not just stupid.
Now as far as a Hooters go, I would take my kids there and do, because they will see boobs everyday of their lives. Now both Toucans and Hooters girls have something in common, they both wear short shorts. Some things they dont have in common, Hooters does a background check and a drug screen. Now lets think, I would rather my kids go where it is a little safer. Rather than going to Toucans and finding the servers serving more than just food. My Goodness, To all you guys that want to see Paul go down, you keep spilling your guts all over this website and you’ll help him walk. Videos, fingerpointing, blame etc…  How dare any of you to be naming names. There are people there that dont do drugs, like the lady that works there to support her kids. I worked there this summer and honestly didn’t see any illegal activities. maybe there were. Not until all the old money and Baptists are dead and gone can it improve. A Hooters would do good there, but forget it. Bars in Bay can stay open till 4, Mexico Beach 2, and if the baotists had there way we would be dry.

Where does everyones loyalty stand there? I mean hell, I could go there and walk out not paying a dime. How many times has someone else done this? Weather I was drinking or just eating, my tabs were never rang in. So when Im told about loyalty I laugh, the food/alcohol adds up, and the loyalty goes out the window. When you are there to make a buck for yourself and not do the right thing by having someone pay then its all wrong. Also on the same note, taking steaks and all the other good meat out of the kitchen, for your own benefit. I think they have a word for that…Theft. I got to watch all the videos of paul stealing from the gift shop late at night and guess who alse was on video stealing;lisa glenna,kenny wyman,and theworst was rose grimey.I might have a public movie night at the civic center and show all the videos of theives and also the videos taken at toucans of drugs being sold and the videos I have from inside pauls house with people smoking meth and admiting that they manufacture meth and sell it. So any employees of toucans that claim they never saw any of these things going on at toucans,this could be you’re big chance.You may be surprised to see who are in these videos.
