Chipley Police Department announces 2009 spring roundup for drug dealers in the City of Chipley. The month of March ends a three month undercover operation within the city where we targeted the sale and distribution of illegal drugs. These transactions during the investigation took place in various parts of the city. These are some of the areas where we actually completed illegal drug transactions with the drug dealer; Holley Avenue, Orange Street, Main Street, Plum Avenue, Second Street, and at least three parking lots of local businesses. The charges range from Sale & Delivery of Crack Cocaine, Sale & delivery of Marijuana, and dealing in prescription medication.

We urge the public to continue to call in the tips no matter how small they might think it is. The public’s involvement in wanting to make their neighborhoods a better place to live is a direct reason some of the investigations on the above listed people were started in the first place.
