An elderly woman crashes into a ditch and is partially submerged under water Sunday night.
It happened around 8:30 p.m. Police say the woman was trying to exit the parking lot of the Panama City Mall onto 23rd street when she drove into a ditch full of water.
The Panama City Fire Department was able to get her out of the water safely.
She did not go to the hospital; however police say they believed alcohol was involved.
She was taken away in handcuffs.
