Two Arrested on Drug Charges in Chipley

On Wednesday night, November 11, 2009, Jeremy D. Smith of Bristol, Florida and Cora Mayo of Defuniak Springs, FL were arrested following a traffic stop by Sgt. P. Demaree of the Chipley Police Department.  Sgt. Demaree conducted a search of the vehicle and found Cora Mayo to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.  A further investigation by Officers on scene found that Smith was in possession of a listed chemical for the production of methamphetamine.  Both were arrested and transported to the Washington
County jail.
