Panama City Commissioner Jonathan Wilson confirms Tuesday that Coast Water Technology Incorporated, a toilet supply company, no longer plans to open its doors in Panama City.
Commissioner Wilson says it’s because of a lack of funding, and a timing issue on Coast WET’s side.
A tax exemption and a lease agreement, agreed on by Panama City Commissioners, were never signed by WET.
The company was promising to employ more than 100 Bay County residents.
