What is Relay for Life?
Relay for Life is the American Cancer Society’s largest fundraising event. Participants raise money throughout the year to help fight cancer and fund additional research. Their hard work culminates in an overnight event, lasting 18 hours. During this event, cancer survivors are honored and participants celebrate life while walking through the night.

You see them on TV, now you get to see them on the dance floor. News 13 personalities Jessica Foster, Wayne Gentry, and Stephen Gunter are hitting the ballroom for a good cause. They will pair with professional dance partners from the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Panama City to learn a specialized Ballroom or Latin dance routine. They will then perform the routine at a special event in January. Proceeds from the ticket sales for the January event will benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
