St. Andrews Krewe Fundraiser

A local krewe is preparing for Mardi Gras which is just around the corner, by getting in the helping spirit.

The Krewe of St. Andrews took over Scampy’s restaurant on the beach Saturday to help raise money for three worthy causes for the eighth year. 

With the krewe’s king and queen was there to help seat and serve those attending.

Charley Corma, this year’s king, tells News 13 that Scampy’s is donating 50 percent of every bill today to this years fundraiser and all the proceeds benefit the Margaret K. Lewis School, The Boys and Girls Club and Girls Inc.
