Saturday night at Gulf Coast Community College, both the women’s and men’s basketball teams hit the court, making for a perfect opportunity to raise a little cash for a good cause.
As Haiti continues to deal with the aftermath of a devastating earthquake, students for the GCCC’s African American Student Union wanted to do something to help.
Students like Natasha Goodman came up with the idea to come to seek donation at half time during the basketball games.
Goodman tells News 13 they couldn’t just sit back and do nothing.
