The calendar says it’s the day after Christmas, but if you’re out shopping it may look more like the day after Thanksgiving.

Day-after-Christmas sales used to aim to get rid of left-over holiday items that wouldn’t sell again until the next year’s season, but not any more.

Many retailers are offering the type of door buster deals that usually only come at the start of the Christmas season.
